Global Supply Chain Function The mission of the Global Supply Chain function is to deliver competitive advantage through excellent customer experience while leveraging scale and cost efficiency. This mission is to be realised through five pillars of expertise:Warehousing & Distribution Sales & Operations PlanningDirect Procurement ( Manufacturing and Production)Performance and InnovationGlobal Supply Chain Processes & DesignPosition DescriptionReporting into the SVP Supply Chain the Performance & Innovation Director will be responsible for the Supply Chain portfolio management and the management of a Continuous Improvement programme supported by clearly defined KP I's, analytics and reporting.Key Deliverables Build motivate and retain a high performing team of project managers, business analysts and data analysts to deliver the Global Supply Chain strategy. Ensure each team member has the necessary skills, development plans and understanding to ensure alignment and effective delivery Supply Chain Project Portfolio global roadmap including chairing and managing Project Portfolio Board and project portfolio reviews, project delivery and resource plans Supporting SVP Supply Chain in senior stakeholder engagement and management Facilitating Supply Chain project prioritisation and offering recommendations for project remediation and risk/issue management Strategy validation for Supply Chain portfolio Establish and rollout benchmarking, KP I reporting and associated C I initiatives Establish and rollout business Case formulation and benefit tracking processes aligned with supply chain finance lead Ownership and management of governance structures Own supply chain resource and investment planDelivery of Business Cases and strategy validation document and initiation of supply chain change activitiesQualificationsrequired and essential Skills / ExperienceDemonstrable experience of important geographically dispersed teams to implement change initiatives to time, cost and quality. Excellent people management skills and ability to build motivate and retain high performing teams Excellent understanding of programme / project management principles including full end to end project delivery of multi-million pound projects in a logistics/supply chain environmentDemonstrable critical thinking skills for managing complex project / commercial and I T issues Effective negotiation skills and evidence of having influenced a wide variety of stakeholders at senior levels (both internal and external) Ability to analyse and interpret data, acting upon the information in a calculated and timely manner Able to highlight opportunities and devise strategies to support and help achievement of business objectivesGood understanding of end to end supply chain management principles Fluent EnglishDesirable Skills / ExperienceGood understanding of KP I ratios within a supply chain environmentGood understanding of C I within a supply chain environmentRecognised C I accreditation e.g. Six Sigma/Lean Six Sigma, Lean certificationsRecognised Project/Programme/Portfolio Management accreditation e.g. Prince2, M SP Fluent in one or more languages other than EnglishPersonal Style and BehaviourRespect for Our values: Brave, Imaginative, Decent and Accountable Ability to navigate and build relationships in a matrix organisation
