Summary Description: The Security Engineering Manager is Responsible for delivering security solutions to solve complex problems in a respective technical domain of the security infrastructure. Performs requirement development and analysis, planning integration and execution of technical security infrastructure solutions to meet sponsor requirements. Includes building and delivery of solutions to meet business objectives in an operational state of infrastructure. Also expected to be able to develop support processes for solution functions. Strategic & Technical Orientation / Job Content:Deep knowledge of security and I T technology infrastructure in respective technical domains as well as security service offerings and the Firm's business at a national level. Primary responsibility is to be working with head of security engineering, representatives of the Network Information Security organization and Project Managers as well as contemporaries in Network Information Security team to oversee all aspects of a specific security infrastructure service offering.Range of Impact:Responsible for developing and building complex technical security infrastructure solutions, managing and overseeing major security infrastructure adjustments and ensuring minimal impact to operations in their respective technical domain.Works independently for small to medium projects and with engineer managers for large projects. Develops and shares best practices across the team. Scope of responsibility:Responsible for the effective design development, building and delivery of solutions for a global service in the respective technical security infrastructure domain (e.g., implementation and configuration of security tools, security appliances or security software).Responsibilities:Develops, plans, integrates and executes technical security infrastructure solutions to meet sponsor requirements in the context of a project team. Implements security solutions consistently with adherence to global security technology strategy including PwC best practicesDevelops and implements security solutions in accordance with global technology strategy, initiatives/guidelines in the local officeDemonstrates deep knowledge of and experience technical security infrastructure.Demonstrates tactical competencies within a technical domain of security tools and technologyCollaborates to develop respective technical domain roadmap including resource and financial forecastsDevelops low level design diagrams and project deliverablesDevelops documentation and training materials required to ensure operational readiness for turnover to Service Delivery team. Documentation includes as-built drawings, equipment inventory, configurations and training materials (such as quick reference guides) Makes technical solution decisions with local, regional and global impactDevelops utilities to automate repetitive tasks to reduce time of build and supportProduces deliverables that meet criteria of technical quality and operational readiness of the installed infrastructureDocuments entire deployment and updates appropriate database(s), using standardized templates and methods Successfully transitions solutions to local and national service delivery teams upon project completionProvides support to service delivery on domain specific solutions Identifies and leverages best practices among security staff as well as within peer teams Actively and constantly participates in teaming Interfaces with various levels or groups within the organization to gain consensus and buy-in from all parties Interacts with customers and/or functional peer group managers. Interacts with senior functional, global or L O S management on moderately complex issuesDemonstrates ability to train on and document technical concepts and procedures and cross-trains others on these areas of expertiseDelivers technical security infrastructure services and enhancements effectively and efficiently Adheres to and monitors the application of appropriate infrastructure security standards Applies consistent delivery of initiatives/guidelinesDelivers value to customers and clients as measured from feed back from key stakeholders Fosters teaming and collaboration Actively and constantly participates in meetings Shares knowledge of best practices within and across teams Education Level:Undergraduate Degree (e.g., B A, B S) or equivalent experiencePercentage of travel time:0-20%LocationLondon Internal firm services In order to deliver a first-class service to The potential employers, we need first-class support internally.
