The potential employer is a well-respected international environmental and engineering consultancy with expertise in built development, mining, renewable energy, minerals, waste resource management, utilities, infrastructure and planning. Having recently been instructed on a number of interesting and exciting projects ranging in type and size, The potential employer's projects stretch across many sectors and range from refurbishment and remodelling of existing buildings, medium height structures to city centre tall structures. In addition they are working with all standard structural materials and the Associate Director (Civil and Structural Engineering) should be able to show experience with these types of structures and materials. This vacancy offer As an Associate Director you will be supporting the growth and helping with the management of the Civil and Structural Engineering team working within The potential employers London office. Duties will include, but not be limited to: Project managing schemes and the project team Preparing high level analysis and design and detailed designs as required helping and advising more junior members of staff throughout the whole team Report writing discussing and advising with and managing other members of the Design team on projects helping the team leader with running the London Civil and Structural team Developing relationships with current clients and contacts helping with introducing new clients and contacts to the team The Person This position is seeking a very determined individual who is hungry for progression and variation within their daily work. Desirable: M Eng or equivalent Desirable: M IC E and/or M I Struct E exemplary conversational and good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong working relationships and tackle effective business development very proficient time management and organisational skills with the ability to meet demanding and formidable deadlines A very confident project manager who is at ease managing resources A technically competent individual, able to mentor others, sharing knowledge and best practice This demanding and formidable and exciting and demanding opportunity offers an attractive basic job salary (permanent) plus very rewarding benefits package to the successful job seeker.
