As Business Development Director you will be working with a building relationships with L&D departments of global firms. In the last ten years The potential employer has grown sales and developed onto the top tier of the UK's Learning and Development pyramid and are now seeking a Business Development Director to further and co-ordinate their sales and business development within the UK digital arena, working with Consultants and methods, backed by an outstanding client and partner portfolio and seasoned management. About The Business Development Director vacancy Within the Business Development Director position you will have an exciting and demanding opportunity to showcase both your technical training sales and relationship-building skills in an established Training Consultancy with excellent progression opportunities. At this current time you will be important the charge with full autonomy working within a bourgeoning training sector that is constantly growing. Main duties for Business Development Director: Lead the account team, work closely with the consultants and advise Upper management of pipeline, strategy and commercial viability. Source and proactively engage with prospective senior Learning and Development professionals and C-Level staff in order to consult and close for your own personal sales targets in accordance with the wider business targets. Work closely with the Marketing Director to align Commercial activity. About You If you are currently in a senior sales vacancy within training this is the ideal next step in your career with a renowned Learning and Development advisory firm. Desirable Skills and Competencies of the Business Development Director: A minimum of five years B2 B sales experience, with a proportion in the training space Vast experience in selling into L&D and HR departments of large organisations Deep knowledge of selling into and consulting with HR departments of large organisations Strong experience building a pipeline and qualifying opportunities Strength in building and managing relationships with C-level executives. Strategic mind-set Background in working closely with L&D consultants Excellent written and verbal communications skills Ability to sell bespoke solutions The Business Development Director receives a very good rate of pay paying from £;55000 to £;65000 with good benefits such as 28 days holiday (plus bank holidays) and a car allowance.
