An exciting new and exciting opportunity has arisen to be working with A well known and important private equity firm on a 12 month contract basis, to cover maternity leave. This vacancy will require previous accounts payable experience within financial services or other professional services environment.Preparation of bi-monthly payment runs and adhoc payments. Monitoring of cash balances and bank reconciliations.Document management and organisation. Answering and responding to supplier queries. Ensuring invoices are settled in accordance with supplier terms and conditions.Population of Sage 200 with invoices/credit notes including V A T coding of transactions.Preparation of invoices relating to management and oversight fees and expense recharges. Assistance with month-end process including prepayments and fixed asset journal entry. A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar vacancy, within a professional services or financial services environment is required and essential. Experience of using Sage software is very desirable. Self-motivated and enthusiastic. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong time-management, organisation skills and ability to meet deadlines.Pro-active and shows initiative.
