An educational Charity in Thurrock/Grays- Essex are looking to recruit a dynamic Business Partner as soon as possible. A key vacancy within the organisation the focus of This vacancy offer will be to maintain the top quality of service and client experience of finance as well as being someone able to forge lasting and professional relationships with key stakeholders. You will be a qualified Accountant who is wanting a job that offers variety with a drive to improve processes and standards. commercial backgrounds welcome. Manage the Finance Officers daily Prepare monthly management accounts, including monthly forecast , commentary and cash flow statements Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations including inter-company reconciliations, bank reconciliations Prepare and post month-end journals. Support & guide the budget holders and senior management in their financial management responsibilitiesClosely monitor budgets so to avoid overspend.Provide business support to the key stakeholders as and when required including the contractual arrangements for key external providers, such as coach tenders, leisure facilities, etc. To ensure that appropriate financial accounting systems, procedures and policies are in place Monitoring expenditure against budget and offering constant reports to budget holders. Ensuring all income is accounted for all expenditure is authorised assets are safeguarded and liabilities discharged in a timely mannerPresent management accounts on a monthly basis Give guidance and train the Finance Officers on the accounting systemPrepare annual budgets and forecasts Ensure that reporting deadlines are met throughout the year. Ensuring financial procedures are adhered to and reviewed on a constant basis. Overseeing monthly reconciliations of all control accountsPrepare the year-end statutory accounts Any other work that is necessary for the performance of your vacancy General Responsibilities: To set a personal example that contributes to the positive ethos of the organisation.
