They work with over 1500 customers across 100 Local Authority areas. A new and stimulating opportunity has arisen for HR Manager to become part of their team As an HR Manager your duties will include andndash;
* Manage and support a portfolio of school.academies on all aspects of HR management
* Manage a large amount of complex ER cases
* Respond to a wide range of customer enquiries and provide comprehensive advice on the full range of employment issues such as employment legislation, best practice, policy and procedures on a range of HR matters including complex casework, recruitment and selection, remuneration, terms and conditions of service, disciplinary and capcapability (performance and health) cases, grievance, redundancy and school restructures - liaising with The employerandrsquo;s in-house lawyer and senior colleagues
* Undertake client visits where appropriate to provide support and advice on HR issues
* To attend and advise where necessary at formal hearings. appeals, including dismissals and attend and advise at union consultations meetings
* Identify situations where lega.safeguarding support is needed and liaise as appropriate
* Support with administrative and HR processing matters, as needed
* TUPE experience is essential
* Harmonisation and mediation experience is desirable The successful HR Manager (Human Resource Manager) will have the following skills. experience andndash;
* (CIPD) Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development qualification (level 5) or equivalent hands on experience
* Full Driving Licence and own transport
* Minimum of 18 months experience in a senior advisory position
* Experience of working across multisite preferably within education or closely related unionised sectors
* Experience including advice and support for manager training, appointment and dismissal of staff, grievance, disciplinary procedures, absence management, redundancy etc
* Experience of attending hearings including dismissal
* Providing advice on employment legislation and conditions of service to ensure compliance and best practice
* Strong multi-tasking skills and can work at a fast pace
* Highly skilled communicator both verbally and in writing
