Financial Accounting Manager Rullion Managed Services Job Purpose Statement To manage the delivery of all East Anglia (EA) project Control and Reporting processes (Financial Statement Close Process, identification of monthly reported results and variance analysis, KPI narrative, Availcapability Control management, supporting quarterly forecasts and annual budgets, chairing and management of EA Finance Committee) and ensure that all key stakeholders have a clear understanding of the performance of the EA projects in both financial and non-financial terms, by providing comprehensive analysis and commentary. Specific responsibility for managing:

* The delivery of the EA projects financial reporting requirements;
* Provide support to the EA project teams on Control and Reporting matters;
* The delivery of the specific reporting requirements of The Crown Estate and OFGEM as needed;
* The delivery of the reporting requirements of partner companies, e.g. Vattenfall for EAOW. The Job has a direct report who will require coached and developed, but acts as a support in meeting the objectives of The Job. Accountcapability Statements Take the lead job in providing support and appropriate challenge to the project teams in their approach to financial accounting to ensure compliance with group accounting policy and IFRS, whilst continuing to develop strong financial controls and processes over the general ledger for the EA companies. Develop and manage the delivery of all key reporting processes (FSCP, monthly reported results and variance analysis, KPI narrative, Availcapability Control, supporting the project in delivering quarterly forecasts and annual budgets) for the EA projects to ensure that all key stakeholders have a clear understanding of the financial performance and position of the projects. Includes giving due consideration to the specific internal reporting requirements of JV Partners and factoring these into the design of the reporting structure. Responsible for delivering the financial services requirements. This includes the preparation of management accounting information for Directors, Shareholders Committee and Executive Committee, as well as chairing the EA Finance Committee. Providing an independent level of challenge to ensure that reporting requirements are effectively communicated and understood, particularly in relation to forecasting and budgeting processes. Responsible for managing the cash requirements of EAOW and providing sufficient notice to the respective partners in terms of their funding obligations. Responsible for managing the response to external audits pre and post year end requests for information and year end disclosure schedules provided by the tax and corporate control departments. Provide ad-hoc support to stakeholders within Control and the wider business as needed. Contribute to a positive team environment within the Renewables control team presenting a proactive attitude and suggesting and delivering process improvements where applicable. Build effective relationships with all key stakeholders within Control and across the business. Dimensions
* Direct responsibility for managing a small team and reporting into a remote team. Skills, Knowledge and Experience
* Qualified Accountant with significant PQE and experience of working in a managerial job within a finance team.
* Excellent track record of delivery within a financial reporting discipline.
* Effective leader with a clear vision in terms of prioritising operational and strategic job duties and the capability to communicate at all levels within the organisation.
* Pro-active person who anticipates issues and problems and puts into place effective strategies to manage these.
* Detailed understanding of relevant IT applications. systems
* Understanding of requirements of the control environment and capability to make a job application these to working practices.
* Commercially aware, self-motivated individual
* Extensive understanding of key Financial, Commercial and associated policies and procedures
* Resilience to deal with the continually changing demands and time-pressures of The Job. Planning and Organising Ability to adapt and change in a growing business. Responsibility for planning and prioritising the activities of the control team and ensuring that changing requirements are communicated to the partnersand#39; respective finance functions. Responsibility for anticipating changing JV structures and coordinating the SAP changes needed to create new entities an.or reorganise existing business structures. Responsibility for coordinating all reporting requirements. Internal and External Relationships Internal Corporate Control Tax Procurement Administration Treasury Criteria
* Qualified Accountant with considerable PQE Consideration will be given to a job job candidate who can demonstrate significant and relevant experience of delivery within senior (Financial Accounting) jobs with proven management experience and interpersonal skills to manage the inter-related activities impacting their remit.
