The employer is one of the largest worldwide bank`s in the world. They are at the moment recruiting for a capable Internal Auditor to become part of the team. The Job:
- Carry out internal audit reviews as set out in the annual Internal Audit Plan, including determining findings and associated actions, assessing control effectiveness and agreeing audit reports - Assist in producing internal audit reports for EXCO, the Board, the Risk Committee and the Audit Committee - Follow-up and report on the status of outstanding audit recommendations - Prepare draft and final audit reports - Carry out ad-hoc internal audit work, investigation or consultancy projects for management as instructed by the Head of Internal Audit - Maintain relevant internal audit information in the Bank`s Risk Management software (aCCelerate) - Help to promote a strong risk and compliance culture - Conduct audit reviews in-line with the approach and methodology set out in the Bank`s Internal Audit Manual - Maintain professional development and keep up to date with industry, regulatory and professional developments. Undertake work in-line with IIA Code of Ethics and Performance Standards - Identifying and evaluating internal control design and operating effectiveness - Ensure compliance with the FC. PRA`s Individual Conduct Rules andnbsp; THE PERSON:
- Strong risk awareness and capability to conduct risk assessments in line with good practice and recognised standards relevant to the UK environment - Highly analytical, able to work with both low levels of detail and a andlsquo;big picture` Bank-wide perspective and think critically - Excellent or - Must be resilient - Effective communicator of audit results and issues, both verbal and written - Good understanding and use of IT solutions. - Excellent interpersonal skills with the capability to establish and maintain effective professional working relationships andnbsp; Our mission:
